Marcon puts on Charity Events to raise money for our charities.
Every year, the members of Marcon give generously and raise money for a worthy charity.
New Charity will be anounced soon.
Donations can be made several ways. Cash donations can be accepted in the Art Show, but the bulk of the funds we raise come through our silent auction held during the convention Friday and Saturday. We have a variety of unique and fun items sold in a silent auction with bid sheets. Many of the donated items come from our amazing dealers, but we also accept outside donations for sale. Some really exciting items from past Events include autographed photos, TV props, scripts, sci-fi memorabilia, artwork, signed books and even an XBox. Come by and see what we have to offer. New donations come in all weekend, so check back often to see what has been added to the tables.
Donations are tax deductible and a receipt can be provided for item and cash donations.
Items purchased in the auction can be paid for with cash, check, Visa, Mastercard or Discover. Receipts will be given with your purchase.
The Charity Event ends when the Art Show closes after Masquerade on Saturday night. This usually occurs in the late evening Saturday night but the time is not exact.
ALL ITEMS MUST BE PICKED UP SUNDAY by 1PM. YOU CANNOT PICK UP ITEMS SATURDAY NIGHT.
To bid, you just need your badge number.
Take a walk on the wild side and find your inner animal.
Thank you for your support!

The Charity Sale is held in the same room with the Art Show all weekend. Our staff tries to collect items that are best described as "once-in-a-life-time" deals. Some really exciting items from past Events include autographed photos from our Guests of Honor, autographed items from TV stars, autographed scripts, sci-fi memorabilia, artwork, and authors including the winning bidders as characters in their books! Come by and bid, you just might win!
